Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed Pakistan's re-election to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on Wednesday for another three-year term.
In a series of tweets, the premier reaffirmed Pakistan's committment to upholding human rights for all, prioritising advancement of tolerance and constructive engagement.
He lauded the Foreign Office and Pakistan's missions abroad for this achievement and for enhancing Pakistan's profile and recognition at an international level.
PM Imran reiterated Pakistan's stance against Islamophobia and said, "We stand resolute against Islamophobia and in support of mutual respect."
